Hello everyone, I solved a few problems of the wanscam ip camera after reading and trying for several days. The solutions worked for me. I work on a mac so the apps I tried work only for mac.
After connecting the UTP direct from wanscam to my computer, the leds are blinking. If this doesn't happen, I assume the IP-cam connection is broken.
(if my English is not correct, correct me and don't punish me for this) Problem 1: I can't reset the ip-cam. Solution 1: The manual says to push the reset button for 10 seconds.
I tried to push the reset button for a whole 60 seconds and this worked. The first reset after 25 seconds, keep pushing, and the second reset after 50 seconds - Cam is reset. Problem 2: I couldn't find the IP of the camera Solution 2: Plug the camera direct into the router, and search for an unknown ip-adres in the interface of the router, then I searched with a tool called IP-scanner for the open ports on this ip-cam. For example: 192.X.X.X:8000 Put this in your browser and log in with: Admin, password: (leave blanc) Problem 3: I receive no email after the test succeeded and the motion detection is active.
Solution 3: Motion detection on the Device Info: None. Don't look at this, the motion detection will work, only it's OR send e-mail, OR upload images to ftp. If you check those 2 buttons, neither will work. If you only check send e-mail, you receive an email with 6 images with 2 seconds interval.
If you only check upload images, the motion detection records with the interval set. (I still cannot record a movie, but I'm working on it) Hope I helped some of you. Hi, I have setup two cameras but and both work wirelessly ( DIfferent IP addres for each and different Ports). I have no trouble connecting and getting images from either but when I cannot get the multiple device to work. The refresh (device list in Lan) under mutliple device only comes up with the camera I am connect to through the IE browers.
It does not show the IP of the second camera. If I use the search tool bothcameras show up. I configured the 2nd device with the correct detailsmanually ( host Ip address of second camera, correct alias name, correct user and pwd and correct port) however I cannot get an image. Can some please provide some hints? Help Needed Please configuring Wanscam Wireless IP Camera I have just purchased three cameras and after a lot of reading mainly on this site managed to get them working, but I still have tow problems. Firstly: although I have set up port forwarding I can only see one at a time when I log in remotely using IE, even though I have port forwarding set up with fixed IP's I can only view one camera at a time, I have added the other two cameras within Multi devices On port forwarding all had to be set up using different ports 81,82 and 83 (is this correct)? Secondly: I cant get alarm service to work, I have set up motion detection = armed and send alarm notification by email, but I can not seem to get it to accept the scheduler, when I select parts of the time or even full (select all) it does not seem to save the settings Any help would be appreciated The app e-view works fine can see all three cameras remotely from any where I am using DYnDns.org for my remote access (trial only so need to get this sorted before my 14 days trial expires) regards Brian.
Hi Viccowface, hi everyone. I need help to configure my ipcam wireless.
The main problem is that I don't know the manufacturer, cause it doesn't appear anywhere. The cam is similar to Foscam FI8908W or the Wanscam AJ-C2WA-B118 / AJ-C2WA-C118.
Only thing I know is Device ID: 006E0603E234 Firmware: 0.37.2.47 Web UI: 0.2.9.12 I think I configured the LAN settings properly: I can connect to the cam via LAN and via internet so everything is ok. My problem is that I can't configure the wireless section. I followed the steps indicated by Viccowface but when I unplug the LAN cable the camera won't connect to the wireless - the cam doesn't appear in the router list of device. By clicking on SCAN button thew wireless network list remain empty.
My router is a netgear dg834 with this configuration: SSID = NETGEAR Encripltion: WPA2-PSK Don't know where to find the Network Type (Infro or AdHoc). The control of mac address on the router is disabled (no access list). Do I need to upgrade the firmware? Which firmware is good for my cam?
I find out the 037238plusui09411, do you think it's ok? I attach some screen of the configs, if anyone can help me. 44KB 4 downloads 60KB 4 downloads 44KB 4 downloads 50.67KB 4 downloads Marco. Hi Viccowface, hi everyone.

They have a website where I found the Italian manual (the version included was in english translated by google from chinese ), but I still can't connect wireless. I have one problem with wanscam jw0004. Ethernet connector are changing status every 30 seconds. First 30 seconds, yellow light is flat, after 30 seconds, yellow is blinking, after, restart the cicle, 30 sec flat and 30 sec blinking. Sometimes, i can access the camera, when the yellow are blinking. If the yellow is flat, i cant. I tried reset camera, but nothing solved.
Baixar cd slipknot all hope is gone. Cable is ok, was tested in another camera. Is it broken or is rebooting every 30 sec?
Did you see something like that? How can I do? Look: Thank very much. Edited by urubullino, 04 August 2013 - 12:50 PM.
With wanscam FC you can control your wanscam ip camera or make settings on iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch. Take access to your cameras over your home network or over the internet. So you can easily check up your cameras or use them as baby monitors.
