Jul 03, 2008 I kept getting corrupted downloads via the Witcher site (thankfully I do understand a bit of Polish) so I gave up and waited until the patch and language file were up on a torrent site.

AitchKay: Follow the link Evilklown provided and follow 'DirtyHarry's' directions. I just bought it straight from, but if you've already bought through steam, u can get it from them for free and it looks like they fixed it. One final note: It initally didn't work.
When i booted the game up after dl it from, the Witcher icon just kept bouncing forever. What gog suggested was to force quit it and make sure the game was in the dock, then reboot it. All the sudden it worked just fine. It will be a black screen for a good 30secs, but then it went right into the opening video.
